CASE STUDY: University of Portland Hall of Fame Room

The University of Portland's Hall of Fame Room originally was designed back in the early 1990's to give accolades to all the famous athletes that the Portland Pilots have had since it's inception.

The solution at that time were plaques with bronzed names and years to show appreciation, but it definitely did not give a full grasp of who these athletes are and what they did to become HOF members.

The Pilots hired Glow Creative to create a hands-on space that invited and kept patrons entertained while teaching about the sports history of their school.

We created an oversized timeline wall which shows yearly achievements by athletes and teams.

Custom panels were developed to add some depth. From a budget standpoint, we did this to enable UP to add additional achievements without having to start from scratch.

Instead of the name plaques, we created an interactive touchscreen experience that allows you to look through all members of the Pilots Hall of Fame.
