CASE STUDY: Wears My Shirt
The guys at Wears My Shirt had a great plan: Sell charity driven-shirts to the masses through a website that customers could access to immerse themselves.Glow Creative was called to take a website that was bursting at the seams with overbuilt message boards, confusing navigation and ZERO ecomm. Strategy meetings took place. Focus groups were called and wireframes were created. The redesign of the website included a custom CMS that allowed each charity to have their own "space" on the site. These "spaces" included online forums, contests, e-commerce, image uploads, social media connections and a custom map tracking interface to allow the user to track where other members who bought a shirt have visited.
Anyone who bought a t-shirt could enter the custom shirt code printed on each individual shirt for a quick entrance into the charity they bought from.
With the new website, came a custom built mobile app that allowed users to pinpoint their shirt locations and shoot images and post to the charity forum on the move.
The launch was a huge success and has since brought in a ton of charities from the likes of: Susan G. Komen, Soles4Souls, Assist International, The Bruce Lee Foundation and many more.
